***Credits from previous years*****

For skaters who have a credit from last season, credits are already in Uplifter registration. Please remember to check off to use any credits your skater may still have when doing registration.

The Tavistock & District Skating Club is pleased to offer online registration again this year. Through the Uplifter website, families will also be able to track their skater’s achievements and receive club communication!

Please register your skaters by following the 2-step process:

Step A – Complete registration on our website – you will need to begin by setting up a family account and adding each skater as a participant. Please be sure to use the parent's name & birthdate when setting up your family's account:

https://tavistocksc.uplifterinc.com/

Step B – Complete payment by cheque or etransfer (see Payment Information below).

Please select ‘Pay by instalments’.

  1. Send an Etransfer to taviskate@mail.com - no password is needed (it will be autodeposited). Please include a memo (ex: "winter registration for John Smith".) Note it is NOT a gmail account.
  2. Pay by Cheque, payable to “Tavistock & District Skating Club”. Cheques can be provided by mail Tavistock & District Skating Club • P.O. Box 214, Tavistock ON N0B 2R0 OR by dropping it in the Skating Club drop box (located by the bulletin board, labelled “Suggestion Box Tavistock FSC”) at the arena.

Payment Installments – we recommend selecting this option so that your invoice is split into a payment plan.

We recognize that skating is expensive, particularly if registering multiple skaters or for multiple programs! If you would like to modify or create a payment schedule, please email tavistockskatingclub@yahoo.ca to discuss arrangements.

Thanks for your patience and understanding as we navigate through these challenging times.

Financial Assistance:

  • Canadian Tire Jumpstart - Sometimes, families need financial assistance to get their kids into a sport or physical activity. We're committed to helping all families access a range of activities, from boxing to bowling and skating to skiing, and more.

Jumpstart

  • KidSport: KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sport programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. KidSport Ontario provides grants of up to $250 per eligible kid, per year (January 1st – December 31st) towards sport registration fees.

What you can do now:

  • With school starting back up, perhaps you need some more labels! Please look for the Tavistock Skating Club when purchasing your Mabels labels at www.mabelslabels.com
  • Do you own or know a business, farm, or organization that would consider donation/sponsorship to the club, even in these unusual times? Please email the club (tavistockskatingclub@yahoo.ca) and we would be happy to send them a sponsorship letter.
  • Watch for our fundraising package, which will be available by mid-October and posted on our website. Even if you do not have a skater participating in our programs this year, we welcome any money raised to help keep our club skating strong!

We hope to see many of you at the arena very soon.
